About this Package

If there is a single course in the entire world that most golfers aspire to play just once in their lifetime, it is the Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland !!!
St Andrews is renowned worldwide as The Home of Golf with no less than 10 courses in the immediate area and more than 30 within a half-hour’s drive. The 10 courses in the town, which suit all player levels, make St Andrews the largest golf complex in Europe and the world’s leading golf destination. Championship courses in the immediate area include the famous Old Course, the New Course and Kingsbarns. Within driving distance is Carnoustie and also the Open qualifying courses such as Crail and Lundin Links.

The Old course has hosted the British open 28 times, the last in 2010.

Carnoustie has hosted the British open 7 times, the last in 2007.

This area is known as FIFE ( it’s a county in Scotland) & is a peninsula in eastern Scotland bordered on the north by the Firth of Tay, on the east by the North Sea and the Firth of Forth to the south The historic town of St Andrews is located on the northeast coast of Fife. It is well known for one of the most ancient universities in Europe Adam Smith the Economist, Andrew Carnegie ( Industrialist & philanthropist) & Ian Anderson (Musician Jethro Tull fame) are all Fifers (ie from FIFE)
