1) Chiang Mai Highlands Golf resort– Set in the foot-hills east of Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai Highlands is a Schmidt-Curley Design. It was voted the NO 1 new course when it was launched in 2005 & has been ranked in the TOP 3 courses in Thailand by Asian Golf Monthly. This is a MUST play 7227 yard layout with a great setting, lots of water, mountains for scenery & bunkers galore.
2) Alpine Golf resort – The Alpine Golf Resort is in a valley with large mountains for company. This course was earlier known as the Chiang Mai Lamphun & was then redesigned by Ron Garl in 2008. This 7541 yard layout is acknowledged as one of the TOP golf courses in Thailand.
3) Chiang Mai Inthanon – The new kid on the block this relatively new 7268 yard course is very picturesque – it overlooks Thailand’s highest mountain – INTHANON. Has a very tough first 3 holes – 610 yard Par 5, followed by the Index 1 hole – a 462 yard,Par 4 & another 422 yard Par 4. Its very unusual to see an opening trio of holes like this – so you better warm up before you start. The course has water in play on 14 holes, so you better carry enough golf balls too. HILLY TERRAIN – Golf cart may be required.
